British cats are amazing companions and great for the family. They and generally lazy and easy to care for. They enjoy your attention and love but are content if you are busy with work or running errands. These cats are good with kids and enjoy a good play time. Their dense coats make them adorable plush animals come to life! They may shed less than other breeds with proper care due to the density of their coat holding loose hairs from easily falling out. They are a medium size breed and have a longer life expectancy than most cat breeds!
British cats require a small regular amount of grooming once a week at least for a shorthair cat. The longhair cats require at least once every 3 days to avoid mats. for optimal maintenance a quick comb through once a day keeps them clear of matting. For short or longhair cats, you can also give a sanitary clip around their bum and base of tail to avoid any messes getting caught in the hair if needed. This is once every few months if preferred.
Generally no. This is because my lines have been hand selected from various countries and I operate my program at a high level of care. I will be extremely selective about allowing kittens to go into other breeding programs, as not every cat is ideal for continuing to breed. Please if you have questions on breeding rights, message me directly for additional information.
I do however offer guardian home programs which a family local to UT can have the opportunity to learn about the hands on parts of breeding and experience the process through my cattery and also learn about showing cats. If this is of interest please also contact directly for additional info.
When inquiring directly or through the waitlist, I will respond and if you choose to move forward with a deposit towards a future kitten or litter, you secure a "pick of the litter spot". This means you get to choose your kitten in the order of the deposits placed, starting at 4 weeks old. You have the option to defer to the next future litter if there isn't a kitten in the current litter that you want. I will be in contact with updates on pregnancies and litters. After all of the "pick of the litter" waitlist has chosen their kittens, any remaining kittens will be listed as available on the social media and website and they are then open for anyone to reserve. Reservation is not solidified without a deposit placed.
We work with you to arrange delivery as easily as possible. If you are not local to UT, delivery will be through a in cabin flight with the kitten and a courier to attend to them during the duration of travel. Delivery costs are SEPARATE from the cost of the kitten. Plan anywhere from $500-$1200 for continental US deliveries with all fees included. Exact quotes will be given prior to confirming travel.
Families are also welcome to fly into SLC or Provo UT and we will meet at the airport free of charge for you to fly your own kitten home.
